Size Guide
Size Guide
Use the guide below to take your measurements. Where a product has its own measurements, they're listed on its product page. Compare them with your own measurements, or with a similar item you already own that fits well. If you're between sizes, choose the larger size, or email hello@varnelostyle.com and we'll help.
How to measure
Use a soft tape measure, wear light clothing, and keep the tape snug but not tight.
- Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, keeping the tape level. For example, 40 in (102 cm).
- Waist: measure around your natural waistline, where you normally wear your trousers. For example, 32 in (81 cm).
- Hips: stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips and seat. For example, 40 in (102 cm).
- Inseam: measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on a pair of trousers that fit you well. For example, 32 in (81 cm).
- Sleeve: measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff, with your arm relaxed at your side. For example, 25 in (64 cm).
- Foot length: stand on a sheet of paper, mark your heel and longest toe, and measure the distance between them. For example, 10.5 in (26.7 cm).
Tips
- Measure in inches first; the centimeter figure is shown in parentheses (1 in = 2.54 cm).
- Measure twice and use the larger figure.
- For jackets and knitwear you'll wear over other layers, allow a little extra room at the chest.
- Measure your feet in the evening, when they are at their largest.
